Hi, i Bought this colt at 12 months old and hes now 18months old, the pics are him at his first show just before exmas where he won the coloured class. Sempers Spirit realy does throw some very nice young stock. thanks Dale.

Sempers Spirit went to Holdenfold Stud today to have his frozen semen done for Europe, we have had many enquiries from France and Belgium about us sending his frozen out.

Some very sad news for the Coloured Warmblood world, the great Samber was put to sleep Christmas eve, this must be a very distressing time for his owners and we send our thoughts to them. We don't own a coloured horse without Samber appearing in there pedigree, he was the greatest of all and will never be forgotten. We feel privileged to have been out and met him in person a few years ago, we were made very welcome by his owners and he looked just as much the athlete as he does in the photos.

Select Beauty and her foal arrived home this week, we would like to thank Hans and Patricia for looking after them and doing a great job at the inspections earlier this year. UCS Sempatovski is for sale and can now be seen at home with us, email or call for details.

Today we said goodbye to our very good mare Regitza Skovgaard, she was struggling with her backend and was finding it very difficult to get up and it was unfair to keep her going in so much pain. It was a very hard decision but i know she is with her foal from this year and is no longer in any pain. She will be sadly missed and was the greatest asset we had to our breeding programme she has bred some amazing foals, anyone who owns her progeny will know how special they are. Love you loads Gitz xx See you again one day

23.10.09 Received a lovely email today from Sophie who has UCS Catatonia she is by UCS Urbanus out of Regitza.
I thought I would send you some pictures of cat. She is a whooping 16.2hh already and has the most incredible unflappable temperament. She is everything you could ever wish for in a youngster and she has complete faith and trust in her handler. Cat is extremely cheeky but kind, calm and very loving. We simply adore her!
Thanks for the photos she looks very content and is growing into a good looking BIG girl.

Had a really good time at Hoys, Mathew Sampson who rides Sempers Spirit won the Newcomer class on Wednesday and also the YR class on Friday, Our friends Lorrie and Kerrie won the non native coloured horse class on Friday, after all the hard work it was great to finally get the result we all really wanted, so a big congrats to all, it was really good to catch up with friends i don't get to see that often.

Thanks to Elaine for this lovely email and photos, good luck with Henry. Hi Mark and Amanda, Ime Elaine who bought Prinz Henry 2 years ago from you. I just thought you might like an update, hes doing really well, we have had him backed and was no trouble ! He went away to my friends Sports horse direct, who import warmbloods for dressage and showjumping at Stilligton nr. York., so it was a bit of a come down in size for her, Fiona her business partner is a para european dressage rider she thinks tj (as i call him now) is good enough for the british junior team!!!! I have a rider for him at the moment we are having lessons with Kath Barley who is a top class show hack producer who lives nearby, we are doing our 1st dressage test at York riding club in 2 weeks.

Today we travelled down to Welshpool for the mare and foal inspections with the Oldenburg, we had a great day and UCS Starlypsa behaved very well, although wasn't to sure about being branded !. She was given pink papers and branded Oldenburg, Sindy was also graded into the Oldenburg studbook, we would like to thank GFH Stud for making our day enjoyable and for setting there place up very well, we were made very welcome.

UCS London Design {Lara} went on the lorry today to her new home in france to join Jo at www.Harasdulh.com, it was a sad time for us here after Lara being made an orphan at such a young age and being very much part of our lives. She has gone to a wonderfull home for life and we are very happy for her to go to such great people.

We had a great time at the Brightwells auction, UCS Dancier's Design was sold and will be going to live in Germany, Special Design took it all in her stride, it was the 1st time we had taken her away, she had lots of admirers. We also met Rebecca who had her Sempers Spirit colt entered, he was one of the highest priced lots at the sale, and had lots of interest.

Regitza Skovgaard is officially retired from stud duties now, she has been an amazing mare for us to own and has bred some amazing horses. She is now going to be the new baby sitter and general Matron around the yard.

More sad news to report here at UCS, our new arrival UCS Jadore was taken very poorly and had to go to the equine unit at York, they tried really hard to keep her going but sadly she was put to sleep the early hours of this morning. Her condition was called Neonatal Isoerythrolysis, i would urge anyone who is expecting a foal to read about it here http://www.twhbea.com/neoIso.htm, the earlier you know the signs, the more likely chance of your foal surviving.
I am sure she is now running free and painless along with our other mare we lost this year Special Design.

Select Beauty and her foal Sempatovski went to the Oldenburg inspections today at Bockmanns in Germany, the foal was awarded a premium and will get full Oldenburg papers and was branded with the 0, Select Beauty was entered into the main mare book. There was 200 foals presented on the day and only 30 got premiums ! We are over the moon with these results and would like to say a huge thankyou to Hans, Patricia, Matthias and his Wife for all there hard work getting them ready and presenting them for us on the day.

Sadly we had to have Special Design {Dee Dee} put to sleep today, this mare was my life and i know the pain will eventually will get better but at the moment I am completly devistated, she was such a great friend and always made me laugh with the things she got up too. We had a lovely day at the stallion parade today, Spirit was so well behaved but was a little tired by the time he went in ring, I would like to thank Gary for riding him there and also everyone at Hannah Esbergers for helping me get him ready in just 1 week !. Although it wasnt very well supported by spectators many people came to see him and were very pleased with how chilled out and well behaved he was in and out of the stable.

Mark went out to Visit Sempers Spirit in Holland, he is currently in training for dressage at Van Ruitenbeek Stables. He was very pleased with his progress and we have a short video clip of him with his very tall rider {6ft 3in} !
