16hh Homozygous Skewbald mare


India was bred in Germany and has been used for show jumping most of her life. She is a very forward going mare that covers the ground well, very powerful behind and has a lovely front end and neckline. She has a great attitude and is very easy to ride and deal with.
She is bred from some great jumping lines.
Her sire Naturell H, Graded Hessen stallion, has been successful in showjumping and has passed this on to his progeny; he is a very nice modern horse with great jumping ability. His breeding includes Nekoma- International jumping stallion who is by Ico who appears on both sides of India’s breeding, Ico was a Dutch stallion and was very popular in the Hessian breeding in the 70s and 80s, also Marco Polo, he was one of the foundation sires of the modern Dutch Warmblood sporthorse. He became one of the greatest sires of the Netherlands, famous for his hereditary jumping talent and obliging character.
He has sired many international showjumpers.
Naturell H also has a great dam line, Gelria was the only privately owned stallion in history to be rented by two state studs he was noted for his magnificent trot and canter; he has 5 approved sons like Stueben, champion stallion purchased by Celle in 1981, and Grand Galopin, winner of the 1990 Stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. Waidmannsdank xx appears in many Hannoverian pedigrees he sired an impressive 21 approved stallions and 278 mares!
India’s Dam Inka is a successful breeding mare, as Nekoma she is sired by Ico, her dam Cindi is by Herald he comes from important thoroughbred and Arab bloodlines combined with magnificent old lines of the Hanoverian stud. He was a stallion that essentially influenced his offspring. His full brother Harnisch was a big producer of jumpers and eventers, many of his sons and daughters were selected for the Verden Auction known to accept only the best.
